IO103

Fast 16-bit analog module with 16/8 multiplexed analog input channels and 8 analog output channels

This I/O module is similar to the IO102. It offers the same sampling/conversion times for the analog inputs respectively same update/settling times for the analog outputs as the IO102. It offers 16/8 input channels and 8 analog output channels. Digital I/O is not available on this module.

Each IO103 I/O module comes with xPC Target driver blocks and Simulink test models, an external shielded 50-pin I/O cable and a terminal board for easy access of all physical I/O signals, and comprehensive documentation.

This I/O module in the PMC form factor and can be used in any Speedgoat real-time target machine with the exception of the Classic real-time target machine.

Highlights

Analog inputs

  • 16 single-ended or 8 differential channels, multiplexed, all channels share one A/D converter
  • 16-bit resolution
  • 3.3µs sampling and conversion time per channel
  • Selectable ±10V, ±5V, ±2.5V (software-selectable, same for all channels)
  • xPC Target analog input driver block

Analog outputs

  • 8 single-ended channels, dedicated D/A converter per channel
  • 16-bit resolution
  • 8µs update and settling time per channel
  • Selectable ±10V, ±5V, ±2.5V (software-selectable, same as selected for analog inputs)
  • xPC Target analog output driver block with simultaneous update of all active channels
