IO303 - FPGA code module selection guidelines
The currently available FPGA code modules require the following number of I/O lines
- CAP: 1 I/O line (input) for each module
- PWM: 3 I/O lines (outputs) for each module
- DIO: 2 I/O lines (inputs or outputs) for each module
When ordering a IO303 you can select n CAP modules, m PWM modules, and k DIO modules as long as n x 1 + m x 3 + k x 2 doesn't exceed 40 (I/O lines).
Furthermore the following additional restrictions apply to the selection of the number of FPGA code modules per type
- CAP: 2..16 in steps of 2
- PWM: 2..8 in steps of 2
- DIO: 2..40 in steps of 2
