SSI decoding (quadrature decoding) I/O modules
These I/O modules from Speedgoat support the standardized SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) protocol to connect to and acquire position and other information from absolute encoders providing this particular interface (mainly RS422, sometimes TTL, electrically).
Most of these I/O modules also cover quadrature decoding on a channel-per-channel basis for the connection with incremental encoders. In case you only need support for quadrature decoding for incremental encoder sensors please do also have a look at our QAD FPGA Code Module available for any of our FPGA-based I/O modules also providing additional functionality to acquire rotation direction and index reference data.
