IO502
8-port RS422/485 module for baud rates up to 920kb/s
This module is an asynchronous serial module which supports 8 ports of RS422 and RS485. It supports baudrates up to 920kb/s. The xPC Target driver blockset for this module offers a composite Send/Receive block as well as low-level setup, send, receive, FIFO, status, and utility blocks.
Each IO502 I/O module comes with xPC Target driver blocks and Simulink test models, an external shielded 68-pin I/O cable and a terminal board for easy access of all physical I/O signals, and comprehensive documentation.
This I/O module in the PMC form factor and can be used in any Speedgoat real-time target machine with the exception of the Classic real-time target machine.
Highlights
- 8 independent, non-isolated serial ports
- Supports RS422, RS485 full-duplex, or RS485 half-duplex on each port individually
- Baud rates up to 920.6kb/s
- xPC Target driver blocks and Simulink test models
