8-port RS232/422/485 module for baud rates up to 920kb/s (RS232) and 5.5296Mb/s (RS422/485)
This module is a very versatile asynchronous serial module which supports RS232, RS422, or RS485 on each of the 8 ports individually. It supports very high baudrates especially for RS422 and RS485. The xPC Target driver blockset for this module offers a composite Send/Receive block as well as low-level setup, send, receive, FIFO, status, and utility blocks.
Each IO504 I/O module comes with xPC Target driver blocks and Simulink test models, an external shielded 50-pin I/O cable and a terminal board for easy access of all physical I/O signals, and comprehensive documentation.
This I/O module in the PMC form factor and can be used in any Speedgoat real-time target machine with the exception of the Classic real-time target machine.
