Study and Teach Advanced Mechatronic Design Concepts

With the optional Motion Control FPGA package the Education real-time target machine gets extended with a multi-functional FPGA-based I/O module with 64 TTL channels and FPGA chip implementing 3 channels each for PWM generation, PWM capture, and quadrature decoding of incremental encoder sensors, additional interrupt and negation support, and 36 general purpose digital I/O lines configurable as inputs or outputs in pairs of two.

Delivery includes an I/O cable, a terminal board, blocksets and drivers for Simulink and xPC Target, a Simulink test models, and a comprehensive documentation all to study and teach advanced mechatronic design concepts.

With this package there is no need for you to deal with FPGA programming but you can simply drag and drop the provided blocksets into your Simulink model allowing to access and configure the provided functionality.
