Mobile real-time target machine - I/O expansion

The machine can be expanded through PMC I/O modules. Because many new designs of I/O modules are brought to market in the PMC form factor first this ensures fast access to the latest technology.

Apart from leveraging the fast PCI bus PMC I/O modules are small enough to fit into any PCI-based system (which for example is the case for the Performance or Automation real-time target machines).

In the case of the Mobile real-time target machine this is accomplished through an active adapter board on which up to three PMC modules get mounted.

Because of it's passive and fanless temperature regluation, the Mobile real-time target machine can be equiped with a maximum of three I/O modules. In case you need a small and rugged solution supporting more than three I/O modules please contact Speedgoat (various alternative solutions not currently published on our webpage leveraging the Mobile real-time target machine for such purposes are available).

Every installed PMC I/O module is accompanied by an external shielded I/O cable and a terminal panel to ensure that you can use your new machine right out of the box.
