Performance real-time target machine - Low noise

The very efficient cooling concept of the Performance machine is not only capable of properly cooling the complete system including highly clocked CPUs and a fully populated I/O subsystem but it does so by producing a very small amount of audible noise (~30dBA).

This makes the Performance machine especially well suited for high-performance (CPU) applications in an office environment or even lab environments where low noise levels are a requirement for example for audio applications.

The main components responsible for the low noise level are the efficient cooling system, fan-less power supply, and large diameter lowest-noise Papst fans.
