Analog I/O modules

These I/O modules acquire analog signals (inputs) and generate analog output signals (outputs).

The various modules are differentiated by the number of provided input or output channels, resolution, sampling modes, conversion rates, voltage and current ranges, and resulting driver and therefore target application latency time.

The IO331-5 to IO331-7 analog I/O modules also provide an on-board configurable Spartan 6 FPGA chip with 150k of logic cells, and 64 LVCMOS, or 32 LVDS I/O lines. This allows closed-loop analog I/O sample rates of 100kHz and much faster to be achieved.

DF = Differential
SQ = Sequential (one ADC or DAC converter for all channels)
SM = Simultaneous (one ADC or DAC converter per channel, low latency)
DMA = PIO and DMA data transfer support. DMA = 8 us of total latency independent of channel count
DI = Digital input, DO = Digital output, DIO = Digital input and/or output
