Serial I/O Module Supporting RS232/RS422/RS485

The IO504 I/O module is a 8-channel, RS232-, RS422- and RS485-capable asynchronous serial module with Simulink^® driver blocks.

The serial channels offer the highest flexibility as they are individually programmable. The maximum supported baud rate for RS232 is 921.6 kbps and 5.5296 Mbps for RS422/RS485. The termination is software-selectable for RS422 and RS485.

This I/O module is ideal for closed-loop controls and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations using MATLAB^® and Simulink.
